In reply to <a href="http://www.onceuponatimepodcast.com/010-ouat-first-thoughts-hat-trick/#comment-1033">Cindy</a>.

I did notice the other box's knob seemed to be lite, but maybe that was just the unintentional lighting/sunshine on it - never can tell on this show.

But Grace's hood was brown with little pink and green leaves/flowers, not red.

Re-watched the scene with Henry and he does have a perplexed look on his face when he's looking at that story. Hmmm!

My thoughts on why Jefferson retains his memory of both worlds but is trapped in Storybrook: I think, since August added stories to Henry's book, he may have added Jefferson so that Jefferson's story would help Emma believe. And that he intentionally wrote it so that jefferson's memory was intact. Henry did seem perplexed when he was looking at that chapter of his book as if he hadn't read it before.
And as a sidenote, last week when August told Henry "I'm a believer", I thought of the monkeys song, I'm A Believer "I thought love was only true in fairy tales"

1. When the Evil Queen went to retrieve her father from the vault in Wonderland, she seemed to know exactly which box to take. However as she reached for his box, there was another box which was actually glowing. I wonder who or what is in that box.
2. When Jefferson told Grace to use her nose, I noticed her cute little red hooded cape... And how sweetly her daddy made sure her hood was up when he sent her out the door later.
Honestly my favorite part of the OUAT phenomenon is how bloggers can take the smallest detail and imagination and speculation takes them in so many directions.

Two points - the first about getting MM back to jail - its not exactly clear what time it is, it is rather dawn looking, and the clock only chimes 4 times. It could have been cut-off since there's the scene change to Regina pulling up (in clear daylight) but I think they had time to drive.

Second - whether Jefferson could leave the house or not. I think if he couldn't leave the house at all, he would have made more of a point about that when telling Emma about the torture of watching his girl. When Emma asked why he didn't do something, he could have blurted "What part of 'Can't leave the house' was unclear?" ...well, maybe the writers would have prettied that up a bit. :)
