First time we were introduced to Mr Clark was in episode ‘True North’ When Ava and Nicholas tricked Henry and placed items in his backpack to steal for them.
We know he is Sneezy well, because of his “Sneezing” of course. He is one of the seven Dwarves.
We see Mr. Clark, again in ‘Skin Deep’ in the pharmacy as DavidĀ is buying his valentines and Mr. Gold is buying duct tape and rope.
This Pharmacy is not a normal name in Storybrooke. Its just not just Storybrooke Pharmacy.
Take a look at the picture below.
Circled is the name of Mr. Clark’s pharmacy store on the sign in back of the candy.
Dark Star Pharmacy

You know what?, Jane Espenson called it that too! Missed the name on the package…. good dig!, But, I’ve been combing the dusty cobwebs of my fairytale memories and have come up with “zip”…… my head keeps coming back around to “Star Wars”, but that’s just terminology association. I can’t connect that with anything……. and it’s probably real simple, too!, huh?…. What did you get?….
The only thing I can think is that it is owned by Regina. Peter pan is second star to the right, and star wars has the death star, let me think some more.. Could it be that when the dark curse hit, the dwarves which were protecting snow changed allegiance from snow to the queen..
That’s a real possibility!, but, difficult to fathom!. I can’t recall any of them having helped MM in Storybrooke so far….. But, I guess that’s what the Dark Curse would have prevented intially, anyway… as it’s all about taking away the ones you love. So, not only would they not know MaryMargret/Snow White…… BUT!, if the writers stick to the rules!……. Team7 won’t KNOW OF EACHOTHER!!!…..wow! that sucks! lol!….. When we spotted “DOC” in Storybrooke, he was with Ernst, “The Ogre” as part of Regina’s entourage….. omg!….. You might be right!!…
NAAHHHHH!!!… SAY IT AIN’T SOOOOO!! NOT THE “MAGNIFICENT SEVEN”!!! NNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!! lol…
No happy endings.. Oh team7.. They will remember! Really she can have whomever she wants on her team and has most everyone.. You know.. Initially at least. Our team7 will get back!
There is also dark fairies and there is a grateful dead cover band called Dark Star! Ironically they are coming to the town I live next week.. weird!
The first thing that came to my mind was a possible shout-out to an not too memorable movie called “Dark Star” directed by John Carpenter (Halloween (1978), The Fog (1980), Escape from New York (1980) and The Thing (1981)) and Co-Written by Dan O’Bannon (Worked briefly on Computer Special Effects on Star Wars (1977), was a writer on Alien (1979), and a writer on Total Recall (1990). Even though “Dark Star” was not a blockbuster, it did win a Golden Scroll Award (Which later became the Saturn Awards) Best Special Effects, and many of those involved went on to create classic movies after that.
The movie was adapted into a book by Alan Dean Foster (It is said that Foster wrote the original novel, Star Wars (Which was created to George Lucas) Source: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Dean_Foster), then Foster went on to write the fan (Especially me, btw) favorite Star Wars EU novel, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye.
That’s my 2 cent, geeked out ramblings.
According to abc.co
“Dark Star Pharmacy” is a reference to the Greatul Dead staple “Dark Star”.
