Some folks spend their whole lives trying to keep it,

Where no one asks any questions,
or looks too long in your face,
In the darkness on the edge of town.

Some folks are born into a good life,
Other folks get it anyway, anyhow,
I lost my money and I lost my wife,
Them things don’t seem to matter much to me now.
Tonight I’ll be on that hill ’cause I can’t stop,
I’ll be on that hill with everything I got,
Lives on the line where dreams are found and lost,
I’ll be there on time and I’ll pay the cost,
For wanting things that can only be found
In the darkness on the edge of town.

Ursula and Cruella summoned to Maleficent’s Forbidden Fortress by a mysterious person (That rhymes with KumpelGilskin). It’s a classic “gather the participants together” tropes (Like the movie “Murder on the Orient Express” or “Clue”). Was the summon note written in magical squid ink, I wonder?

Cruella breaths magical smoke to beguile or enchant creatures.

Cruella’s Hell hounds?

8:15 going to 8:16 again.

Starting over – again.

Things are Changing in Storybrooke theme.

Henry is back at school. Henry taking the bus. Regina is letting go of the control of Henry. Good steps for Regina.

We see Snow teaching what appears to be High School students. We see notes about birds on the chalkboard and she is holding a bird on her finger, which hearkens back to the Pilot.

Regina returns to the Mayor’s office. She “hotly” removes the picture Snow put up.

Granny is Neal’s babysitter.

Emma suits up and grabs the Sheriff’s badge to reclaim that role.

Hook gets Emma coffee to start her day. Very progressive.

We see that Gold’s Pawn Shop is Closed.

Hook is very frustrated about the Fairies being trapped in the hat, and especially the fact that he had a hand in it.

Belle let’s him know that between the internet and “the finest minds in the world,” they would find a way to rescue the Fairies from the magical hat.

Rumple is living in New York, sponging off Ursula to put his plan together to return to Storybrooke.

It appears that Cruella’s husband is being apprehended for some kind of crime the FBI is involved with. Tax Evasion?

Cruella Feinberg.

Cruella lost all she had, like Rumpel and Ursulla (Maleficent, too). Maybe the similarity of the group’s plight, might help the Queens of Darkness join in with Rumpel’s plan.

Rumpel being outside of Storybrooke was more boring than I was expected. I wanted him to get back to Storybrooke (so did he, I’ll bet). 🙂

Rumpel talks about Heroes and Villians in the storybook getting their “just desserts”. He wants to change the odds. He hasn’t learned that if someone could, they already would have. His ego will be another element that will be his undoing.

Mr. Clucks (a nod to Lost) makes an appearance.

I love the fact that with as much power as the three evil characters had wielded in Fairy Tale Land, now they are stuck in a drive through to eat drive through chicken.

Emma, on the other hand, is trying to eat healthier with a (Non-Granny’s) Kale salad.
