The podcast is hosted by Jeff and Colleen Roney, a married couple from Orange County, CA.

The goal of the episode is for us to give our first thoughts, warts and all, so here it is.

Note: I remember Regina’s line was Maleficent was “Sustained by a special spell, in whatever form she was in,” but still…

I love this episode my favorite parts was with Regina and Snow kinda disappointed didn’t see Regina and Snow scene in Storybrook like Emma and Henry I have a theory what if Rumple foreseen this that science can defeat magic and that why he wanted to know everything Dr.Whale knew so he could protect himself and my other theory is Nealfire is one of Wendy brothers even though wanted him to be Huckfinn look forward to listening to your podcast

Here is a link to rating discussions on Daniels ONCE forums … I usually just google ONCE UPON A TIME RATINGS ( DVD DOWNLOADS or +7 ratings ) and multiple links will pop up.

As for the coffin in the Season one finally the coffin was under the library I do not think it was moved. Although if I remember correctly the coffin was also under in the mind… so I guess they move it to wherever they want, whenever they want it shown.

Hi Nonnie, I did skim over the discussion in the link. It does make sense what the demo the show is going for, yes, but I am much more interested in what I brought up in our podcast concerning what Adam H mentioned via Twitter about a more “complete” reading of viewer numbers released one week later (including more detailed info (DVR, Commercial views, etc). Bottom line is that we (the public) don’t get a full view of how many people are watching (on all the different ways (Hulu, DVR, etc)) besides live. We should have access to that, so we can no freak out because its a limited subset of viewing number information.

Yes, the coffin was under the library if you only saw “A Land Without Magic” from Season 1, but

in “That Still Small Voice” in Season 1, Henry got trapped in a mine shaft far from the center of town. Remember when Regina dropped a piece of Snow’s coffin glass? She dropped it straight down and it landed on Snow’s coffin. That is a huge continuity issue (to me) with where they placed the coffin in “A Land Without Magic”. Unless there was a very strong wind that blew the glass for miles, or did Emma (and later Hook and Regina) walk for miles to get over to where Snow Coffin was (underneath the mine shaft). Emma, Regina or Hook weren’t sweaty, dusty or breathing hard if they walked for limes away from the Library. It’s a small point about where Snow’s Coffin is, and maybe it’s in the realm of “suspension of disbelief”, but that’s why we do a podcast to overthink such things. 🙂

Thanks for the kind words and for listening, Jeff

In response to how Rumple/Mr. Gold was affected by Hook’s hook, it’s because he was outside Storybrooke and powerless, thus making him susceptible to Hook’s weapon of choice. Also, Hook’s hook was only enchanted by Regina to cut out Cora’s heart in “Queen of Hearts” (which he eventually used to cut out Aurora’s heart later), and afterwards it wasn’t enchanted again. Hook had his hook laced with poison (a reference to the original J.M. Barrie “Peter Pan” story where Hook used poison to kill Peter which was placed into his medicine that was given to him by Wendy (in contrast to the 1953 Disney film where Hook uses a bomb to do his dirty work)) to kill Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold in Manhattan. Hope that helps, and keep up the great work on the Podcast! 🙂

There is a link that measures the +7 day rating of download of streams and DVR usage but I will have to look for the site again… If I find it I will post it so you can book mark the site.
