OUAT – Random Star Wars shout-outs

Evil Queen uses magical power to “push” away guards:

Just like Yoda did:

Evil Queen lifts objects and throws them at Maleficent’s unicorn:

Like Vader (and other Jedi/Sith, as well) threw equipment and boxes at Luke on Bespin:

Mary Margaret Blanchard’s blouse:

To me, looks similar to Princess Leia (Here is a SW pre-production sketch):

Prince Charming’s (actually the brother of PC) mother’s dress:

Also notice in the picture; More apples, and the hero riding a white horse.

Shmi’s (Anakin’s mother in Episode 1 and 2) dress looks very similar:

What do you think?

More to follow (for sure).

    Ya know Jeff, “?”
You said something the other day on twitter that’s been bugging me since. You made a comment about EVERYBODY in Storybrooke has a damn Apple tree. Apples are everywhere around here! Everybody’s eating APPLES! and here it is again! You don’t suppose those “apples” reinforce anything, like false memories from the Dark Curse? During the Marathon, I rewatched the subtle confrontation between Regina and Mr. Gold that night in her front yard as she was cleaning up after Emma ,shall we say, helped prune her favorite tree…. and as Gold was getting in the last jab with the word “please”… he takes a bite, one bite of an apple from that tree and arrogantly throws it back, over his shoulder at her as if to say ” Not only you Dearry, but your apples have no affect on me either! “…..great!, now ya got me thinkin apples!

Well, I never said that everybody in Storybrooke had apple trees, but it is the ‘go to’ thing to keep in baskets in rooms in Storybrooke (and much of Fairy Tale Land, too). You noticed something very important as well, Mr. Gold was the only person in Storybrooke to take a bits of one of Regina’s apples – and it would appear, survive. To me (and you, too I think) that Mr. Gold is large and in charge of things. Good catch, sir.
