50 Things you must do BEFORE you send that Angry Tweet to Adam Horowitz and/or Eddy Kitsis

Before you fire off that angry Tweet (or 20 – thousand) to Adam Horowitz and/or Eddy Kitsis about the things that upset you about Once Upon a Time, here is an awesome list of 50 things you must do;

1. Learn or relearn a musical instrument,
2. Start or restart an exercise routine,
3. Go to a Disney park,
4. Go through your closet and donate clothes you don’t need anymore to those that need it,
5. Eat healthier,
6. Unsubscribe to those emails/newsletters you get all the time but never read,
7. Take a local tour of your town and learn things you never knew about where you live,
8. Buy a stranger a coffee or a fast food meal for no reason,
9. Put all the stray shopping carts in the nearby cart corral at a nearby grocery store,
10. Sort the junk mail pile and recycle what you don’t need,
11. Plant a tree,
12. If you are pretty good at #1, show your skills at a local Convalescent Home. They will love it,

18. Ride a Bike. If you can, rent a tandem bike with a friend. Double fun,
19. Put your DVDs back in their cases,
20. Make a list of what you own for insurance purposes,
21. Run a virus scan on your computer,
22. Spring clean other times of the year,
23. Buy an extra meal at a fast food restaurant and give it to a homeless person,
24. Remove apps you don’t use anymore on your Smartphone,
25. If you are great at a subject, tutor someone who needs help with it,
26. When a wait person does a great job at a restaurant, take a minute and tell their manager how great they were,
27. Buy and tend a Bonsai tree,
28. Learn to cook, or cook better,
29. Learn to sing or take singing lessons to get better. If you sing well, share you gift. You can show up at a friend’s work on their birthday and sing them a Birthday telegram,
30. Learn to snorkel or Scuba dive,
31. Donate some time or money to a school you used to attend,
32. Get proper sleep,
33. Go visit pets at a pet store,
34. When possible, take the stairs,
35. Enjoy sunsets,
36. Go see a concert at a local college,

So it’s not a cast panel (like I kept thinking it might be), but at least it’s some Once Upon a Time and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland magic at the “Comic Con” of Disney, D23.

On Saturday, August 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Stage 23, Executive Producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will be featured at a panel titled “ABC’s Once Upon A Time: Behind The Fairytale”. They will discuss Season 3 of Once Upon a Time and the new series, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.

Note: We may see surprise guests in the panel. It does happen sometimes when schedules allow. Just sayin’

There will be a Q&A moderated by Jeffrey Epstein, The title of the Press Release mentions “Exclusive Screenings” which may be a general title for the D23 Expo Press Releases, by the showrunners may bring along some surprise footage to show to generate more buzz. We’ll see.

  • See original props from the set,

    BURBANK, Calif. – July 24, 2013 – Be among the first to watch ABC’s most anticipated new fall series and animated specials and have a chance to learn the secrets behind how they were made. Fans will have those opportunities at the D23 Expo: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where all the worlds of Disney come together, August 9 – 11, at the Anaheim Convention Center.

    Executive Producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz will be featured at a panel titled “ABC’s Once Upon A Time: Behind The Fairytale” on Saturday, August 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Stage 23. Eddy and Adam will talk about exciting developments for season three of their hit series Once Upon A Time as well as their new fall series, Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, which takes place in the Victorian England of Alice and the strange new land that exists on the other side of the rabbit hole. The Q&A with the executive producers will be moderated by D23’s Jeffrey Epstein.

    Guests on the D23 Expo show floor are invited to come aboard the Jolly Roger for a swashbuckling good time with some of your favorite fairytale characters from ABC’s hit series Once Upon A Time. Explore the famous pirate ship and feast your eyes on original props from the set. You will also find Snow White, Prince Charming, the Evil Queen, Captain Hook, and Emma Swan (and Emma’s red leather jacket). Every pirate who boards the ship gets to visit the Evil Queen’s vault. And a surprise awaits when you unlock a box from Regina’s wall of hearts. No pirate will leave empty handed! Don’t let this exciting adventure sail by without you!

    In addition, as previously announced, guests will be able to get an up-close-and-personal look at some of the elaborate costumes from Once Upon A Time inside the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives exhibit located on the second floor of the Convention Center.

    OUAT EP’s and Jennifer Morrison to present at the Creative Arts Emmys

    The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced a range of presenters for the 2012 Primetime Creative Arts Emmys on Thursday, including “Web Therapy” star Lisa Kudrow, “Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks and “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Chris O’Donnell.

    Similar to past presentations, the awards will be presented by pairings of showrunners and the talent on their programs, meaning that Kudrow will present with “Web Therapy” executive producer Dan Bucatinsky, Hendricks will be paired with “Mad Men” honcho Matthew Weiner, and O’Donnell will be matched with “NCIS: LA” boss Shane Brennan.

    OUAT – Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz’s Weekly Pop Culture Consumption

    We know Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz as the very talented, creative and out of the box writers for Once Upon A Time and previously Lost. So how exactly do they fair in the pop culture departement?

    Vulture.com has a special feature called Vulture Diaries, where they as prominent creative people how their consumption of pop culture on the daily basis. For this week, they caught up with Kitsis and Horowitz to outline their consumption.

    For our recurring feature the Vulture Diaries, we will be asking prominent creative types (authors, directors, actors, musicians, etc.) to keep track of their cultural consumption in a given week. This week, we have Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, who went on to create the ABC show Once Upon a Time (which returns September 30) following their writing work on all six seasons of Lost. (The pair also developed the animated series Tron: Uprising, which airs Thursdays on DisneyXD.) The two are Breaking Bad fans, so spoilers followfor that show.
