Once Upon a Time Blanket: Casting On

So you’re ready to start the blanket but you have no idea where to start?

Well that’s easy.  You will need to start at the beginning.

The step is called casting on.

This is how you will get the yarn onto the needles so that you are able to start knitting

About.com has a wonderful step by step tutorial on how to do the “knit cast on” which can be found here:

Basic Knit Cast on.

my personal favorite “the long tail cast on is demonstrated in the video below.

OUAT – Ruby Watch: Excellent Interview with Meghan Ory

Meghan Ory plays Little Red Riding Hood/Ruby and get this  – the Big Bad Wolf all at the same time. Could it be better?

Meghan Ory sat down with Lily Sparks of http://www.tv.com for this great interview. What is to come for Ruby? Will we see more of her in the coming episodes?

Under the Hood With Once Upon a Time’s Meghan Ory

Whether you like her on Once Upon A Time as Ruby, the hot goth waitress that makes every guy in Storybrooke weak in the knees, or as Red Riding Hood, the innocent young girl who transforms into a wolf during “Wolftime,” Meghan Ory is an absolute stunner in all realities. I was lucky enough to get to talk with her about the show, building her characters, and her hopes for romance (for her characters, natch).

OUAT – Jennifer Morrison teases future episodes

After Sunday’s episode, the final scene between Emma, David and Mary Margaret has been wildly talked about. The Huffington Post interviewed Jennifer Morrison about what is to come after that suspense filled scene.

Once Upon A Time’: Jennifer Morrison Teases What’s To Come For Emma

As “Once Upon a Time” nears its first season finale, it seems like Evil is kind of kicking Good’s ass in the fairytale drama. The final moments of this week’s episode, “Red Handed,” saw Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) implicated in Kathryn’s apparent murder, leaving Emma (Jennifer Morrison) in the unenviable position of having to arrest hemother roommate.
Times are tough for Storybrooke’s new sheriff, so HuffPost TV caught up with Jennifer Morrison for an exclusive phone interview to find out how her character is handling her sudden lack of allies, her ongoing rivalry with Regina and the growing proof that all isn’t quite as normal as it appears in the tiny town.
Proceed with caution, there are spoilers ahead.

OUAT – The Case of the Mystery Well

We’ve seen a few wells pop up in Storybrooke – the most recent being the one where Red sees blood instead of water in Red Handed. We compared that well to the well where August took Emma. See the blog post here – http://www.onceuponatimepodcast.com/ouat-hey-where-have-we-seen-that-well-before/\

Light Bulb Moment – there was also a well in the Price of Gold. Remember when Ella wanted a drink and Thomas went to get it for her? We then find out that he has disappeared. Here are some screen shots of those two wells.

Episode 4 – The Price of Gold

Episode 13 – What Happened to Frederick

It seems that the well in episode 4 did not have a roof (but its too dark to tell). But the shape and sections look very similar. Even the pulleys look alike. Here is a side by side picture of the pulleys.

Do you think that they are the same well? Do you think that these 3 wells we’ve seen are all the same one? Is the well some kind of entry way or portal to another world?
