OUAT – An update on the Storybrooke tree

In a previous blog post (Where Have We Seen the Storybrooke Tree – http://www.onceuponatimepodcast.com/where-have-we-seen-the-storybrooke-tree-before/), we showed you screen caps of times we’ve seen the tree in the town seal and David’s dining room.

We haven’t really seen the real tree just pictures. But in episode 13, we might have actually seen the real tree.

When August brought Emma to the well for their “date”, we see a tree in the background that looks very similar to the Storybrooke tree. See for yourself

Is this the Storybrooke tree we’ve seen in the past on the town seal? Could it be the Tree of Life? Is there a connection to the tree being next to the legendary well?

OUAT – Why was August Booth adding pages to Henry’s storybook?

When Henry’s book disappeared, it was later revealed that August Booth had it. In “What Happened to Frederick”, we see that August was supposedly adding pages and binding Henry’s book.

What caught our eye, was not only him binding the book but the solutions(water) he used.

Soaking the pages in a basin of mystery water/solution (listen to Colleen’s awesome theory of where the water came from in the most recent podcast) http://www.onceuponatimepodcast.com/006-ouat-first-thoughts-what-happened-to-frederick/

More mysterious bottles filled with solutions.

In one previous post about August Booth (http://www.onceuponatimepodcast.com/ouat-insteresting-tidbits-about-mr-august-wayne-booth/#comments), there was a very cool and informative comment about what these bottles could be from a user named “whatif”

What do you think?

Where Have We Seen The Storybrooke Tree Before?

The first time we saw the Storybrooke Tree was on the Sheriff’s cruiser.

The second time we saw it was when Graham gave Emma her Badge.

Most recently we saw it appear in the Nolan’s house in ‘Skin Deep’ in their dinning room.

Does does this tree, relate back to the the Magic Tree, we learned about in the Pilot?.

The same Magic tree that baby Emma was put into, the same tree Rumplesiltskin’s jail was made out of?

What could the Storybrooke Tree mean?

OUAT – Graham’s Leather Jacket at the Sheriffs Office

In Episode 8 (Desperate Souls), Mr. Gold has Graham’s belongings including his leather jacket which he was offering to Emma as a keepsake.

At the end of Desperate Souls, Mr. Gold placed the jacket on the coat rack at the Sheriff’s Department.

In episode 12 (Skin Deep), we see that Emma has left the leather jacket on the coat rack where Mr. Gold left it.

Why is Graham’s jacket still there? Is it a hint/clue that he may come back to get it? Or is it because Emma left it there for sentimental reasons to have him even in spirit at the sheriff’s office?

Jennifer Morrison in the March 2012 issue of Allure Magazine

In past interviews, Jennifer Morrison has made no secret about the fact that she has been “gown envy” especially with her co-star Ginnifer Goodwin who gets to wear gowns and dresses on Once Upon A Time. As Emma Swan, she frequently is seen in Storybrooke with her signature leather jacket, tight fitting jeans and leather boots – not for long.

In the March 2012 issue of Allure Magazine, Jennifer felt what it was like to be a princess. She was chosen as Allure’s Face for March 2012. http://www.allure.com/allure-magazine/toc/201203/index_20120214

Maybe if the curse never happened, this would have been Princess Emma in Fairy Tale Land! We can only hope!
