OUAT – Young Snow Scene vs Storybook Picture

In last weeks episode called Hat Trick, we see Henry reading his storybook. We see a picture of a wide-eyed girl who looked like she was holding something in her hands.

When this scene came to life in Stable Boy, many theories came out as to where was this “locket” or heart shaped object she was holding.

Our question to you is – Was she really holding something in the storybook picture? Or was it just the illusion of the plant that seems to look like it was heart-shaped as well.

What are your thoughts? Do you think it was just the plant? Or was she holding a heart shaped pendant and chain? If she was holdiing a necklace, where is it? Did August add that detail when he had possession of Henry’s book?

OUAT – The Queens Heart Vault

In episode 7 (The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter), we see that the Evil Queen had a vault filled with hearts and some  other things we still need to figure out. When she commissioned the Huntsman to kill Snow White and bring back her heart, she intended to add the heart to her collection in the vault.

When the Huntsman did not bring back Snow White’s heart, the Evil Queen queen took his heart instead and placed it in the heart vault.

In Storybrooke, we see that Regina has brought this heart vault with her and hidden it underground, where she takes Graham’s heart and crushes it.

In this episode (Hat Trick), we see the Evil Queen doing everything she can to get into Wonderland to retrieve something. She asks Jefferson’s help and they both go into Wonderland.

As they get to Wonderand, we see this mausoleum-like structure that clearly belongs to the Queen of Hearts.

As we see the Evil Queen open the doors to the mausoleum, what we see surprises us.

The Heart Vault!

We see the Evil Queen retrieving a box from the vault and quickly escaping.

We realize that before she exits Wonderland, it was her father’s heart that was in the vault.

Who owns the heart vault? Who stole it from who? What kind of rivalry is going on between the Evil Queen and the Queen of Hearts? Why was Henry Sr.’s heart in Wonderland?

OUAT – First Thoughts “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter”

Lots of Indiana Jones connections;
Graham and Emma searching for a “treasure” in the tomb, just like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (that really wasn’t the last… anyways).
Evil Queen says, “All I have to do is squeeze,” when she was clutching the Huntsman heart. Indiana Jones said the same thing to Elsa.
Evil Queen did a Mola Ram on The Huntsman.

Oh yeah, Regina Mills. Maybe is the Miller’s daughter from Rumpelstiltskin? Hmm?

Lost connections;
Wolf red and black eye. Locke’s eyes were white and black in Claire’s dream.
The reveals of the Fairy Tale lives are very Lost like. Just sayin’

Evil Queen and Rumpelstiltskin had black and red in their clothing choices alot.

Those stairs that Regina took must have been really long, because based on the tunnel from the collapsed Mine tunnel down to the forest floor (where Snow White’s casket was) was a looooong way down. I hope she brought some water.

We find another connecting point to the Fairy Tale world (How many more will we find?), although I was a bit upset that it was the same looking crypt in Storybrooke that connected to the same looking crypt in Fairy Tale land. I’m happy that the first was a random elevator shaft.
