OUAT – Was the Mine Shaft a shout out to the Hatch in Lost? You decide.

In Once Upon a Time episode 5, “That Still Small Voice,” are there similarities between the elevator shaft and the Swan hatch? Let’s see;
The opening was under leaves and dirt and had to be brushed away to be exposed.




Explosives were used.

Someone was lowered down into the shaft (Kate in Lost, and Emma in OUAT).

Welcome to the 5th episode of the Once Upon a Time Fan Podcast. This is a podcast dedicated to the hit ABC TV show, Once Upon a Time.

OUAT S1E5 – Aladdin’s Lamp seen in Mr. Gold’s Pawn shop

Next to the young couple that Jiminy mistaken gave the magical potion (created by Rumpelstilskin) to turn them into dolls/puppets was Aladdin’s lamp.

Will the Aladdin story appear in the Once Upon a Time storyline? What deal did Aladdin make with Rumpelstiltskin?

Note: This could be a spoiler if you haven’t seen the episode yet. Be warned.

Henry found a glass piece in the mineshaft (We know it was a piece of Snow White’s coffin from Fairy Tale Land). In the final scene, we see that Regina somehow found it and brought it to the service elevator shaft:

She drops it down the elevator shaft (very lost hatch shaft like, btw):

then, the piece of glass coffin lands right on top of the glass coffin in Fairy Tale land. The entire land seems to be underneath Storybrooke Maine.
