Hi Jeff & Colleen – Some observations:
The comic book Henry is reading is Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk #3 published Jan 1, 2009 and written by Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof. Yes another Lost connection.
Rump mentioned last week that if he had the power of the dark one that he would do good things. I truly believe he wants the evil curse to end and has pre-ordained the lifespan of the curse. He needs Emma to break the curse and actually knew that in order to get her to Storybrooke that he would have to acquire Henry. I also believe he knew the quill Cinderella gave him would halt his power because he needed to be confined within the branches of the mystical wood bars of the prison once the curse hit. Notice that all of Rumps old characteristics returned once he got to Storybrooke EXCEPT his coward ness and timidity. Also, why does he broker children for other people but never actually keeps kids for himself?
Why are there two blind witches? A young one from Hansel & Gretal and an old one from the curse ceremony.

Right on! Joel… I was waiting for someone to comment on the comic book we all had seen with an issue date or something I could use as a time reference, but that one is too old, very cool!, but too old to tie into Storybrooke’s recent history and what I’m trying to prove logistically, but, I can at least check that one off the list, Thanks!

I got one more rock to throw at that as well!….ok, several rocks!
I could have sworn that in earlier previews of that episode #9, that the young blind witches eyes were sewn up as well… not this beautiful “glowing blue” hue that all of a sudden appears in Sunday’s episode??
How are they going to get around the blind witch aging about 40 to 50 years IN FairyTaleLand then crossing over old – when Hanzel & Gretyl have remained the same age throughout the entire event, including crossing over at the same age as when they met her(the young Blind Witch)??… AND their father as well!? (that was my last rock).

My opinion is that there is only one, and we are yet to find out what happened to her after she was in the oven. Maybe Rumpelstiltskin happened in to save her, in return for – a favor? If dead is dead, then she couldn’t have been transported to Storybrooke, right?

I only got to see the end. I miss most of the episodes cause my dad’s favorite teams play that night and I have only been able to see a couple. I feel like I missed out on a lot. I am hoping to catch up on a lot more when possible.
