OUAT – Songs used in Once Upon a Time

Besides Mark Isham’s fantastic Once Upon a Time score:

some other songs have been used in the show, like;

During Emma’s Bail Bond “chase” in the OUAT Pilot we hear The Black Keys “Howling For You”

Howlin’ For You by The Black Keys on Grooveshark

During Storybrooke’s awakening sequence at the beginning of “The Thing You Love The Most,” we hear Cat Steven’s “Don’t Be Shy”

Don’t Be Shy by Cat Stevens on Grooveshark

During Mary Margaret’s blind date with Dr. Whale in “Snow Falls” we hear “Red River Valley” a Country and Western classic that has been recorded a gazillion times (It is also played as ambient music in Disney Frontierland areas, and it was in (one of my all time fav Western movies) Tombstone)). I couldn’t find the exact version used in the episode, so I just picked one.

OUAT – Pinocchio Art on the Nolan’s Wall?

See the picture hanging on the wall? Does this look like an artistic representation of Pinocchio to you?

Here’s another shot of it.

OUAT – Screencaps of Snow White’s Father’s Castle banner

Zoomed in photo:

I see a crown, something red (a key? Maybe one of the red items on Midas’ crests (see below)?), then a square walled city? What do you think?

OUAT – RZM OUAT Episode Text Commentary Beta is here

Hello all! I’ve always wanted to do commentaries of some kind for the Once Upon a Time episodes. There are so much cool stuff going on in the shows, I wanted to find a way to “join” the viewer and tell them, “Hey, that’s important. Remember that for later!” or “Remember that item that so and so had from the last episode, well this person gave it to them,” etc.

Sure, there are lots of great audio commentaries that people have done. For instance, a friend of mine (and Star Wars canon timeline aficionado), Nathan P. Butler has done great ones for the Star Wars trilogy, here: http://www.solosound.net/category/cantinacommentaries/. That’s great, but I wanted to do something different.

OUAT – Our Fan Podcast is #2 New and Noteworthy in iTunes

Thank you to our AWESOME listeners who have subscribed, rated and reviewed us in iTunes. This is what you’ve done for us:

I’ll bet Colleen gets tired of me saying, “I can’t believe this” as I read all the iTunes reviews, Tweets, Emails, and watch the subscriptions, downloads go up.

This is a dream that you’ve all helped come true. Watching our little podcast climb the New and Noteworthy podcast charts past some very heavy hitters is an incredible site to see. I thank each and every one of you who have got on board with us. This is not about Colleen and myself, its always been about three things; 1. The AWESOME Once Upon a Time TV show and the very kind cast and crew, 2. The SUPER AWESOME listeners, and 3. Two of the luckiest (and humbled everyday) podcasters to ever upload something to as RSS feed.

I mentioned this before. We are not done. I have huge plans. Thank you for joining us on this amazing journey, but more exciting places lay ahead, and we can’t to share them together with you all.

Please share this podcast/blog/site with as many interested fans as you can, because there is plenty of room on this “ship” to take us to more amazing places.

Again, a heartfelt thank you. Happy Holidays, and know that your kindness, support (voicemails, Emails, RTs, FB Shares and iTunes rating and reviews) for this endeavor is a very special Holiday Gift for us.

Hugs to you all, Jeff and Colleen Roney
