OUAT – What is written above the Mayor Mill’s doorway?

From the OUAT Fan Podcast Deputy Desk:

Magister Is written above the door frame of the Mayor’s Office.

This word has more then one meaning:

“The magister officiorum (Latin literally for “Master of Offices),”

this could be reference to the Mayor’s office being the ‘master of Offices in Storybrooke.

another definition of Magister is:

“a title of the Middle Ages, given to a person in authority,”

Regina is a person of Authority in Storybrooke, she is after all the Mayor. However, are there any other words hiding amongst Mayors office, are they clues or just random words? Have you spotted anymore?

OUAT – Seriously, Emma Swan really likes Fruit Loops

From the OUAT Fan Podcast Deputy Desk:

In the beginning of episode 7:15am. Emma is seen eating a bowl of cereal in the kitchen as Mary is getting ready to meet David at Granny’s.

Emma was specifically eating ‘Froot Loops’; she was  eating them the morning after when she was sitting at the table in Mary’s apartment at 7:45.

In Episode of The Fruit Of The Poisonous Tree. Sitting in the diner with Mary, she again was eating Froot Loops.

Is this something out of Emma’s childhood past?

OUAT – Do we see Queen Regina’s Apple Tree spot in Storybrooke? Updated 2/2

(See Updated info below) This is Henry’s playground Castle. Spotted on the left  there is a round structure that has a flag pole sticking out.

Do you think it could be the structure of Queen Regina’s Tree in Storybrooke as it was in the garden of Leopold’s castle?

Listener Ken sent in information on the location in Steveston:

“I noticed your post re: pole structure and here’s the backstory on it. It’s really a memorial structure dedicated to fishermen who were lost at sea over the long, historical fishing period in this area.

The ‘pole’ is really a 26 ft. aluminum fishing net mending needle in the middle of a circular compass rose. See below link to an article for more details …. note the article picture of the needle more from a front view. Also note view of Mt. Baker (in Washington State) in the background which we saw glimpses of when the Prince’s twin brother was herding sheep in Ep. 6 – The Shepherd.

As a side note, Mt. Baker is part of a volcanic mountain range called the Cascade Volcanic Arc, of which nearby Mt. St. Helen’s is also part of.”

Ken also included a link to an article about the site in Steveston, as well: http://www.infolynk.ca/bcfishing/StevestonMemorial-TimLynch.pdf

Thanks again, Ken.

OUAT – Is this an early glimpse of Alice? Goldilocks? or just Waitress #4?

In Granny’s diner, we see a blonde waitress walk by:

Is it the first glimpse of Goldilocks (as OUAT Fan Podcast listener David B. asked)? Or maybe Alice (not in Wonderland at the present time)? Sure, she could be also be Waitress #4. I’m not taking anything away from the actress that would play Waitress #4. We think you did a great job. You rock.

However, there could be a larger role waiting for her concerning porridge, or a rabbit that’s late for an important date?

More importantly – What do you think?

OUAT – So, Mary and David are texting, now? Who else might be?

In the recent OUAT episode we see Mary hold up a cellphone:

She mentioned to David that she got his text, so David has a cellphone and it using it to text. I wonder when Henry will get his own phone? So, we see tech advances are moving forward much faster now in Storybrooke. We see a payphone in Granny’s, but we jump over the glory of the pager straight to cellphones that have texting capabilities.

Things are changing in Storybrooke.
