OUAT – Lost Whiskey and the Little Mermaid clues spotted?

Lost fans rejoiced seeing this prized Whiskey in Mary Margaret Blanchard’s home: (Note: Click on the picture to get a larger view)

but did you notice the shell on the glasses Emma used to serve the drinks?

A coinkeedink? What about the boat hung in the rafters in Mr. Gold’s shop?

I think we are seeing hints to the Little Mermaid.

Also, notice the bird cages in the background. What do those mean? What else do you see?

OUAT – Random Star Wars shout-outs

Evil Queen uses magical power to “push” away guards:

Just like Yoda did:

Evil Queen lifts objects and throws them at Maleficent’s unicorn:

Like Vader (and other Jedi/Sith, as well) threw equipment and boxes at Luke on Bespin:

Mary Margaret Blanchard’s blouse:

To me, looks similar to Princess Leia (Here is a SW pre-production sketch):

Prince Charming’s (actually the brother of PC) mother’s dress:

Also notice in the picture; More apples, and the hero riding a white horse.

Shmi’s (Anakin’s mother in Episode 1 and 2) dress looks very similar:

What do you think?

More to follow (for sure).

OUAT – Storybrooke Daily Mirror Screencap Analyzed Pt. 1

Mary Margaret Blanchard was reading the Storybrooke Daily Mirror in the Diner (Note: Click on the photo for a larger version):

Fun things to notice;

Storybrooke Daily Mirror – Independent and Locally Owned (I wonder what kind of editor Mr. Gold is)
Story – Remnants of Seventeenth Century Colonial Settlement Uncovered at Harestock Bridge. (Hinting to what we discovered watching after the “That Still Small Voice” episode)
Cost of the Paper 75 cents – To align with my crazy theory that Storybrooke was frozen in 1983 (28 years from 2011), I did some checking but couldn’t find proof that a daily paper cost that much (in general), but nothing concrete. Will file this under “possibly”.
John Doe story – I enlarged and sharpened it. I could make it out a bit, but not completely. Mary Margaret Blanchard was quoted in the story, so our little hospital volunteer is also a newspaper “star”. Take a look for yourself:

OUAT – That mysterious green ring and my theory

So, we know that Prince Charming’s Mother gave him that ring to marry King Midas’ daughter:

Here’s a better look:

We see MMB playing with it as she waited for DN to arrive:

We also have seen MMB playing with it previously in episode 3 “Snow Falls,” as she watches David and Katherine embrace at the hospital:

and on the steps to her upper floor directly after in the same episode:

The most amazing thing I found is this picture of the ring:

Regina was wearing it in episode 5 “That Still Small Voice”:

So, how did Regina get the ring? We are seeing some time shifted scenes in this show. Meaning that the scenes we see in the Fairy Tale world are not in sequence. For instance in the pilot, we see Snow White marry, then she is pregnant. We see the dance sequence with Cinderella in another episode. So, we can assume that the scenes we are seeing in Storybrooke aren’t in the sequence that we are seeing, either.

I think that Regina asked Rumpelstiltskin to conjure or bring Katherine into Storybrooke to insure that MMB and DN would not end up together. Perhaps the scene when Regina is wearing the ring is after Katherine is gone or removed from the situation? Maybe Katherine is Maleficent (transform by another curse, maybe)? At this point, anything is possible. What do you think?

Note: Read the comments below. Some feel that this isn’t the same ring. That’s cool. I could be wrong, but I just wanted to pass along what I thought.
